Every spring, as the ground begins to thaw out, I get very excited to switch up my wardrobe. As I get older, however, I've started buying less into the trends and more into staple styles. That being said, you can definitely still have a lot of fun putting together a classic look. Yes, you can make a statement in comfier clothes. From oversized dresses to baggy sweaters, even the coziest pieces can pass for chic with the right accessories. When I tried on this loose-fitting Topshop dress, I knew it was too good to pass up. Flowy yet flattering with a belted waist, it pairs well with OTK boots for a low-key winter look. 'TIS THE SEASON...

Feeling like you’ve been to 34 holiday parties and still have more to attend? Same here. And while it can get overwhelming, it’s important not to lose the fun in all of it. For me, I find it’s best to be selective about what to attend and also, to be as kind as I can to myself.

This time of year, I usually tend to look back at my successes (and failures), which often leads to comparisons and that’s never a great thing. We all inevitably do this but to avoid going down that rabbit hole, I think it’s important to take breaks from the phone, enjoy all the friend gatherings, dance with the people you love and take a nice break from the office.
